Situation
FirstPort called upon us to visit Regent House, Amersham, after they reported a number of parcel thefts from the reception lobby by the delivery provider.
The client’s residential property entrance was fully glazed and located on a busy thoroughfare connecting a public parking lot to the high street. The inside is relatively open, with a large lobby visible from the street. Parcels have been stolen over the years.
To improve security, the client sought support from BASSE Solutions for obscuring the street view.
Task
Following our attendance to site and inspection, the BASSE Solutions team recommended that half of the window be frosted to conceal the inside of the building and thus prevent anyone from taking advantage of the opportunity to steal unclaimed parcels.
Action
The BASSE Solutions team arrived early in the morning to clear and prepare the area.
After cleaning and drying the interior of the glass, we measured and cut specialised adhesive film and applied it to the window, making sure it was thoroughly scraped down and any air bubbles were removed.
